Peggie did an amazingly outstanding job. She has a VAST knowledge base of so many parts of the home buying process from the industry end. She actually sat with me and explained every page before allowing me to sign my contract. She actually impressed the salesman with the builder with her knowledge. She even explained some things to him (haha).
She is truly an advocate for her clients. The builder was very late on finishing the home. She called and got some extra incentives for my inconvenience. She told that anytime I wanted to find another builder, to just let her know. My house was three months over the time frame that was given (total waiting for completion 15 months). She was not happy, and she stayed on the builder.
She's very perceptive and intuitive. My circumstances changed quickly in that my roommate put her house on the market suddenly due to some very expensive repairs it needed. I was kind of panicked inside, so I wanted to put a bid on the 1st home I saw. She told me okay. She called me a few minutes later and told me that she sensed that I was panicking and desperate because of my living situation. I admitted that I was afraid of being homeless. She was very comforting and caring. She asked me if I loved the home we had seen. I told her no, but that wasn't unusual for me because I didn't have an affection for things. She told me that even though she understood my situation, she did not want me to buy a house that I did not love. She talked about how buying a home is a huge and expensive thing and that I needed to love it. She told me to take a deep breath and follow my heart.
She could have easily put an offer in on that house and collected her commission. She didn't. She put my interests before her own interests and needs. Now, I'm actually in a house that I got to pick everything down to the knobs on the cabinets and drawers, and I love it. Had she not been the agent she is, selfless and a genuine advocate for her client, I'd be some where I thought was "meh." I can't recommend her enough. I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!!
