Proceed with caution when working with Lori Wentworth. I don’t think I have ever written a bad review before this and struggled actually going through with it, but I feel like others should know to proceed with caution before booking with this host on AirBnB. My husband and I planned a trip away for our anniversary and we often go back to Dunedin where we used to live. After hurricane Helene hit, we received a message about 2 weeks before our trip that our first AirBnB was under water and had to be cancelled. We decided to look for another place and keep our plans since flights and car were already booked. We messaged this host and she affirmed that her place had no water, so we went ahead and booked. In the meantime, hurricane Milton was headed straight for the Dunedin area on October 9th into the 10th. We reached out to the host on October 11th to give it 24 hours to see how much damage they received. She responded saying she was in St.Augustine and would message us the next day when she returned to Dunedin. After not hearing back for over 2 days, we assumed things must be so bad that she couldn’t get back to us. All the news we were watching showed 90% of Dunedin residents without power, roads/causeways shut down, residents were told not to be using water, gas was being rationed, and over 500 trapped residents were rescued on Drew Street only 3 miles away. Our trip was less than 5 days away at this point and still heard nothing from the host, so we cancelled our flights, cancelled our Turo car (which the guy we were renting from said that there was no way we should be traveling to the area, unless we were part of an emergency response team), and made new plans for people keeping our 3 young children. We reached out to AirBnB and explained that there was a national disaster and our host must not be able to respond. Finally after AirBnB contacted her, 4 days before our trip (and after we cancelled everything else), she responds to us saying everything is perfect and Dunedin is up and running as normal. We explained we already cancelled everything else because we hadn’t heard from her in 3 days and based on the news and talking to friends that live down there, there is no way vacationers should be going. She refused to give us a refund, which we were hoping to use to book something different locally for our anniversary to still get away. After going back and forth, AirBnB reached out to her and she agreed to do half of our money back. So we lost out on hundreds of dollars. We would totally understand not getting a full refund if we just last minute changed our minds and didn’t want to come, but this was a trip we had been counting down the weeks and days to. Given the circumstances and our reason for canceling, we were flabbergasted at how this host took advantage of us and the situation. For anyone looking to book on AirBnB with Lori or work with her as a realtor, we wanted to share our experience so that the same thing doesn’t happen to someone else. Definitely proceed with caution before choosing to work with her.

I recently reached out to Tim Kugler with EZ Choice Realty to sell my parents' house in Tampa, FL and he did an EXCELLENT job!!! Tim didn't waste any time reaching out to my parents to get to know them and set up their first appointment. He had the house listed in a week with a great description that perfectly captured what the home offered. He had showings lined up the very next day! I can't say enough positive things about this company and how Tim operates. I am very thankful he took care of my parents like he did, always keeping them informed. Tim had an offer on their home in less than a week from it being listed! This company is honest, professional, responsive, and very good at what they do!
