Welcome to "The Offshore Culinary Experience" a restaurant that's as much of a survival challenge as the Process in "3%". First off let’s talk about the paella. This dish took so long to arrive I was beginning to think I needed to pass a series of tests just to earn it. But oh was it worth the wait! The flavors were so divine it almost felt like I had finally made it to the Offshore.
Now I ordered a sampler appetizer but like a contestant who didn't pass the Shell Room it never made it to my table. I guess not everyone makes it through the Process huh?
The decor is as chaotic as the Inland there's no discernible theme unless "random assortment of whatever was left in the warehouse" counts. Still it has its own quirky charm, like an attempt to merge Offshore luxury with Inland grit.
My waitress was alright definitely not a Michele more like a Rafael: decent but occasionally questionable in their approach. Despite the wait and the missing appetizer, the paella was such a triumph, I might just risk another round of the Process to try more dishes.
So, if you’re willing to test your patience and overlook a few hiccups, you might find this place to be your own little slice of Offshore paradise.

We came in for lunch with low quality service. The plantains were dry, they were supposed to come with garlic sauce and topped with other ingredients. However, they had nothing on them. We did get free bread with a spicy sauce on the side which was pretty good. I ordered a Cuban regular with the works, it was decent but tasted like a high school lunch, I had a side house salad and the vegetables on it such as the cucumbers tomatoes and carrots were not fresh at all. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast Cuban, which he ate all of, but said we shouldn’t come back due to a lack of service. We waited for 15-30 minutes with no drink refills or a stop by our table. We eventually just went to the front and asked for our drinks. We then proceeded to wait another 20 to be asked if we needed any boxes, or even to receive a check. I also asked for a refund on the plantains, as they weren’t what we asked for we were not refunded for them. The new receipt came up the same amount as the original receipt after she told us she would take the plantains off. We arrived at 12:50 and didn’t leave till 2:20. If you’re looking for a quick lunch and a good quality meal this isn’t the place to stop.

Why did I wait so long to eat at Latin Grill?!? So delicious! Wish I had gone sooner. We had the 12 oz Churrasco Brazilian Cut (Churrasco Brazilian Cut, a tantalizing dish featuring grilled steak. Hand craved to perfection and served with a side of traditional chimichurri sauce), El Colombiano (White Rice, Red Beans, Steak, Chorizo, Pork Belly (Chicharron), Avocado, 2 Fried Eggs, & Sweet Plantain), and Pollo Caribe (Grilled chicken topped with avocado salsa and aranas de tostones). Everything was delicious! We went on a Friday night and were seated right away. Our server took excellent care of us. Will definitely return!
